Our aim is to promote the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) and the use of alternative energy, particularly solar photovoltaic, with objective and unbiased information.

World Bicycle Day

For our first issue we wish to draw your attention to WORLD BICYCLE DAY (June 3rd) which contributes to achieving SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

The United Nations General Assembly declared June 3 as World Bicycle Day in April 2018. The resolution for World Bicycle Day recognizes “the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the bicycle, which has been in use for two centuries, and that it is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transport.”
