With over half the world’s population without access to safe toilets or drinking water, we are reminded that sanitation and hygiene are a dignity and right for all. This year’s campaign reminds people that even if they work in small amounts, these actions all add up.
This World Day follows the Sustainable Development Goals 1 (No Poverty), 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), and 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation).
