https://www.un.org/en/observances/end-food-waste-day
30% of all produced food is lost between production and when used. In a time where climate change and political instability are impacting food sustainability, and a large portion of the world’s population face issues of hunger, action is needed more than ever to be more efficient with food systems.
This World Day follows the Sustainable Development Goals 2 (Zero Hunger), 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
