With over half the world’s population without access to safe toilets or drinking water, we are reminded that sanitation and hygiene are a dignity and right for all. This year’s campaign reminds people that even if they work in small amounts, like a hummingbird these actions all add up.
This World Day follows the Sustainable Development Goals 1 (No Poverty), 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), and 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation).

WETEX and DSS 2023, 15 – 17 November
EMSOL was a proud participating exhibitor at DEWA’s Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition and Dubai Solar Energy, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This 25th edition was to show the UAE’s leading commitment to renewables “at the forefront of sustainability", and is part of the lead-up to the country’s hosting of the upcoming 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in the Expo City.
